ok so i dont want you saying oh you shouldnt do that coz its worse security blah blah blah. ive looked at other peoples questions and got to the bit where i put in my default gateway into to the web address but it asks for a username and password which i don’t know. How do i find out???
ok i don’t have the manual :S so is there still a way to find it?

I was away & connected to wireless at the hotel where I was staying. When I returned home & went to reconnect to my home wireless, it asked for a security key. Netgear says my contract has expired & I need to pay for a new contract to get my security key. Is this the way it works? It would be cheaper to buy a new wireless router. Will I then have the same problem?

we’ve just set up a security key for wireless internet and everytime we try to connect to the internet it asks for the security key. how can i save the key on both of the laptops so we dont have to enter it every time?

we use windows vista on one laptop and windows 7 on the other.

I’ve tried port forwading for two different programs, an XBox 360, and BYOND Online. In the beggining I was able to do it with BYOND, and then one day it just stopped working. I was wondering if wireless security, like WEP, will stop you from being able to port forward?
