So my dad annoyingly put a password on the wireless, so I can’t pick it up with my laptop anymore. -_-, soo i’m wondering because I have access to his computer, how would i be able to find out the security number?

An available numbered port using network cable aka cat5e or ethernet then you access the router too so you may not be able to its factory default ie removing the router to the router by plugging.

From any remote computer you can:

–depends on the level of encryption.–

Default WEP - can be hacked in about 2 minutes with a fast computer

WPA - takes about 15 minutes

WPA2 is crackable - but not easily

Possibly the password is the default password which is probably on the wireless router somewhere. Or if its a Linksys - you can access the control panel - and lock HIM out ! Default login credentials are: user: linksys password: admin or login: admin pw: admin

Use airhack to get to cracking…
      Otherwise if it is a WPA2 encryption - it is usually 10 characters — (maybe a phone #) -

Regardless - you have a ton of options — or if all else fails……

You can hard reset the wireless router and put everything back to factory settings - and then set it up yourself - either way hacking wi-fi is a piece if cake since most people are idiots…
